Lead your mission. Strengthen your operations. Finish the year with a plan.
In just three days, you'll step out of the day-to-day to assess your nonprofit's operations, clarify your year-end priorities, and create a practical plan for GivingTuesday, program closeout, and 2027 planning. Walk away with greater confidence, stronger operational direction, and a roadmap to support your mission through the end of the year.

You're carrying your nonprofit on your shoulders, and it's costing you more than time.
You're leading programs, responding to community needs, coordinating volunteers, preparing for board meetings, answering emails, managing operations, and trying to plan for the future, all at the same time.
Build Without Burnout: A 3-Day Reset for Nonprofits is a free operations reset designed for nonprofit founders and executive directors who are ready to step out of the day-to-day and lead their organizations with greater clarity, stronger systems, and intentional planning.
Your mission deserves your leadership. When you're responsibile for every decision, every email, every project, and every deadline, it becomes difficult to focus on fundraising relationships, strategic partnerships, and the long-term direction of your organization.
Over three focused days, you'll assess your nonprofit's operations, identify what should be prioritized before year-end, evaluate the systems supporting your programs and funding efforts, and create a practical action plan to prepare for Giving Tuesday, year-end execution, and 2027 planning.
DURING THIS RESET, YOU'LL
Assess the operational strengths and gaps affecting your nonprofit's ability to execute its mission.
Identify the priorities, systems, and documentation your organization needs before year-end and GivingTuesday.
Create a practical operations plan to help your nonprofit finish 2026 strong and prepare for 2027.
This isn't another productivity challenge. It's an opportunity to step back from the day-to-day, evaluate your organization's operational health, and make intentional decisions about where your time and leadership are needed most.
Whether you're leading a team of one or a small staff supported by volunteers, you'll leave with greater clarity about what needs your leadership, what needs better systems, and what should happen next.
DAY ONE
Day 1: The Founder Bottleneck: What Is Keeping Your From Leading the Mission?
On Day 1, we'll take an honest look at how your nonprofit is operating today. You'll identify the responsibilities keeping you in the day-to-day, uncover where your organization depends too heavily on you, and determine what needs your leadership before the end of the year.
-
Complete a Nonprofit Responsibility Audit to identify everything you're currently managing
-
Assess the operational areas supporting your programs, board, team, volunteers, and community
-
Identify where your nonprofit has become dependent on you instead of documented systems and shared ownership
-
Clarify your top operational priorities for September through December
This isn’t for nonprofit founders looking for another webinar of ideas they'll never implement.
This is for nonprofit founders and executive directors who are ready to strengthen their operations, make intentional decisions, and prepare their organizations for year-end execution and sustainable growth.
You benefit more from this reset if:
-
You're leading the mission and managing most of the day-to-day operations
-
Your nonprofit depends heavily on you to keep programs, projects, and administrative work moving
-
You're preparing for Giving Tuesday, year-end initiatives, or 2027 planning but aren't sure where to focus first
-
Your systems, documentation, or processes need better organization to support your mission
-
You have more ideas than your current capacity allows you to execute
-
You know you organization needs stronger operations before it can grow
-
You spend more time managing tasks than building relationships with funders, donors, partners, and your community

MEET YOUR HOST
Ebony James is on a mission to help nonprofit founders and service-based CEOs maximize their time, scale their impact, and increase their revenue without burning out.
Over the past 13+ years, I've supported leaders behind the scenes through operations, executive administration, project coordination, and strategic planning. One pattern has remained the same: when founders become the operating system of the organization, growth, funding opportunities, and long-term sustainability become much harder to achieve.
That's why I help organizations build the operational foundation their mission deserves.
Ebony D. James
After college, I began supporting leaders with executive administrative, operations, project management and event coordination. What I thought was “just helping” turned out to be a gift. I discovered that the gift of administration wasn’t just about staying organized, but that it was a way to help people steward their assignment well without running on empty.
A few years ago, after being laid off from my 9 to 5 with no backup plan, I stopped treating my business like a side hustle and went all in. That decision changed everything.
Today, I work with nonprofit founders and service-based CEOs who are leading important work but often carrying too much themselves. Whether it's strengthening operations, coordinating programs, organizing documentation, supporting leadership decisions, or preparing organization for growth, my goals is always the same: helping founders spend more time leading their mission and less time managing the day-to-day details.
I believe strong operations create stronger organizations. When systems are clear, responsibilities are defines, and priorities are aligned, leaders have more capacity to build relationships with funders, serve their communities, and focus on the work only they can do.
During Build Without Burnout: Nonprofit Edition, I'll help you evaluate your nonprofit's operations, clarify your year-end priorities, and create a practical plan to help your organization finish 2026 strong and prepare for 2027.
